JABEZ PRESS ANNOUNCES 2005 COMPOSITION INVITATIONAL WINNERFORT WORTH, TEXAS Jabez Press, LLC, a Fort Worth–based publishing company and record label, proudly announces Judith Lang Zaimont as the winner of the 2005 Jabez Press Composition Invitational. Her winning composition, A Calendar Set: Twelve Preludes for Piano Solo, will be published by Jabez Press and presented at the 2005 World Piano Pedagogy Conference in Anaheim, California, at the end of October. Compositions were solicited from more than fifty established composers and were evaluated on compositional sophistication, appeal to advanced pianists, appeal to concertgoers, and marketability.
