JABEZ PRESS RECEIVES REGISTERED TRADEMARKFORT WORTH, TEXAS Jabez Press, LLC, recently received confirmation of its trademark registration through the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This marks the end of a three-year process of securing the name for the Fort Worth-based publishing company and record label. “Having that little circle-R by our name communicates to our industry that we have long-range plans for this business,” said Douglas Briley, President of Jabez Press. “The registration of our mark adds even more credibility to our reputation as a music publisher and record label.” The trademark registers Jabez Press in International Class 9 for musical sound recordings, namely compact discs, audio cassette tapes, and digital audio tapes featuring music, all of which are in connection with the Jabez Press record label. In addition, the trademark registered Jabez Press in Class 16 for printed sheet music and Class 41 for music publishing services. Jabez Press, LLC, publishes and records new compositions, transcriptions, and arrangements. As a publisher, Jabez Press distributes its concert and sacred music to performing musicians and teachers primarily through jabezpress.com and select retail music stores.
